Bryan Bell the key songwriter for Dead Flowers, is near to completing his debut solo album. He is a double APRA Silver Scroll finalist, an award that recognises excellence in songwriting. The latest arty video was shot in London by Marc Swadel who directed the excellent Las Vegas video for Might As Well Get Used to It.
Dead Flowers recorded three albums for Wildside, Skin Of A Stone, Sweetfish and Dead Flowers. The last self-titled album included radio hits I Wanna Know, You Drink the Water Ill Drink the Wine, I Dont See Anyone At All, Aint It The Truth and Might As Well Get Used To It. The debut solo album has been recorded with Chris Van De Geer co-producing.
Chris was in 1990s Wildside band Second Child and now is guitarist in Stellar*. Bryan Bell has performed solo acoustic (with a celloist) sets opening for Alanis Morissette, Bob Dylan and the Eagles. In the 1990s Dead Flowers opened for Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, Faith No More, Living Color and Sepultura
